I will say on a completely unrelated note from the review that almost $5 for this novella is high. This one seemed a little more on the mild side. At least in my fantasies, lumberjack's are gruff and brawny.
I do wish Dylan would have been a little uff. If you like the lumberjack fantasy, this one is hot and sexy. *grins* This would have been a fun little story to read right around Christmas time. They had a intimate relationship until one the rumor got started at school that they were sleeping together. The jock in high school, what started out as her tutoring him, ended up with him showing her to have sex.
The entire ride up there, she remincies about her first love, Dylan. So she decides to spend it alone in her family's cabin up in the mountains. A lawyer from Chicago, Kip has just been dumped and feels very alone on Christmas.
